3rd Person EP is Motif's sophomore release, and is an attempt to challenge himself with different writing styles, as well as challenging himself to write an entire project in 3rd person. Each track is a different literary challenge, and Motif worked to ensure the entire project flowed together with ease and consistency. 3rd Person was an endeavor to step outside of your comfort zone when creating, and Motif enjoyed the challenge himself.

Motif has been playing music and doing spoken word publicly since 2013. He has been playing percussion since 2002, piano since 2010, and guitar since 2013. Motif is studying Sociology at DePaul University, with a double minor in Religious Studies and Music. Motif's primary instrument is percussion, with specializations in Jazz Vibraphone.
